Wondering if your local SunTrust bank is open for a specific holiday? SunTrust has merged together with BB&T to form a new bank: Truist Bank.
Check out the list of 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017 dates below that all SunTrust and Truist branches are closed on. The exception is some in-store SunTrust branches which are open on Memorial Day. These branches are located inside Walmarts. This may change after the Truist Bank merger is finalized.
This SunTrust Bank holidays list is updated for 2021.
If a holiday is not listed below, such as Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Halloween, or St. Patrick’s Day, then SunTrust banks will be open for business on that holiday (unless it falls on a Sunday of course).
To confirm their holiday hours, please call your local branch. Remember that processing times for many transactions, such as wire transfers, will have extra delays during the holidays.
